About Us
Church History
The ministry began in April 1999 as a website outreach to interracial people around the world.  In the first few months the initial contacts began as a prayer resource and answering general questions about how God is working in people’s daily lives.

Within three months the ministry began a monthly newsletter and soon reached an international audience of over 300 people.  During the next three years the overall global outreach grew to touching the lives of over 750 people, organizations, and churches.

Pastor Tony Richards was ministering to individuals and other pastors throughout the United States and in three foreign countries (Australia, Africa, and India).  The monthly newsletter was enjoyed by a readership of over 1,000.

During the summer of 2001 Pastor Tony Richards completed studies and became the Campus Minister for Penn State University, McKeesport, PA.  Here he continued with the worldwide newsletter while bringing the Word of God to students, faculty, and staff of the campus and began a regular weekly church service and weekly afternoon bible study.

While on campus, the Lord called him to begin Interracial Ministries Christian Church (IRM), a non-denominational church serving the college campus and city of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania.  In the fall of 2002 IRM began offering weekly Sunday services within Beaver County and maintained these services until early 2006.

In May 2006 the church moved the headquarters to Bismarck, North Dakota, change the name to CrossRoads COGIC and came under Bishop Michael Cole and the Church of God in Christ in the fall of 2006.

Today, we also have partnerships with churches in Pennsylvania, Africa, and India.  The Lord is blessing as we continue to outreach to our brothers and sisters globally. In addition, we have partnership relationships with three churches in India.

The church now enters into a new era of growth and development as we continue to bring the Word of God to people worldwide and move to strengthen the spiritual relationship and development of individuals, couples, and families.

CrossRoads COGIC is a God centered, spirit filled Christian church dedicated to bringing the Word of God to all people who are seeking His call on their life.
